MeAndYou is for adults who want friendly, respectful conversations. Here is how we keep it that way, and how you can protect yourself.

Our rules

No nudity or sexual content, no harassment or hate, no threats or violence, no spam or scams, no fake profiles, and nobody under 18. The full rules are in our Terms. We remove content and accounts that break them.

Adults only

You must be 18 or older to use MeAndYou. The app only accepts an adult date of birth and our servers check it too. If you think someone is under 18, report them with the reason May be under 18. Read our Child Safety Standards.

Report and block

You can report and block someone from three places:

• During a video call: tap the flag at the top of the call screen.
• From their profile: open the profile and choose Report or Block.
• From a chat: open the menu in the conversation.

Report reasons include harassment or bullying, nudity or sexual content, hate speech or discrimination, violence or threats, spam or scam, fake profile or impersonation, may be under 18, and something else. You can add details to help us. Reporting blocks the person too by default, so you will not be matched or contacted again. The reported person is never told who reported them.

What happens after a report

Our team reviews reports. Accounts that receive repeated reports from different people can be suspended or permanently blocked, and serious violations are removed straight away. Where the law requires, we report illegal content to the authorities and cooperate with investigations.

Your privacy on calls

• Video calls are live and are not recorded by MeAndYou. Video goes directly between the two phones where possible.
• Other people never see your phone number.
• Only friends (people who follow each other) can message or call you.

Tips to stay safe

• Keep personal details such as your address, workplace and other social accounts private.
• Check what your camera shows before a call.
• Never send money, gift cards or one-time codes to someone you met online.
• Tap Next whenever a call feels wrong. You never owe anyone a conversation.
